Killer cucumbers

Reports have shown that the e. coli outbreak is traveling across the globe to countries including Britain, France, Czech Republic,  United States and Germany.

The cucumbers were contaminated while being transported to various supermarkets.

More than 1,000 people have been infected and 18 dead according to the New York Daily News.

From the Telegraph, food stores have been removing the killer vegetables from their shelves to prevent further health risks.

Scientists have linked the source of this outbreak to beansprouts growing at a northern German farm. Therefore, students should be aware while doing their shopping if vegetables were imported.
