To Write Love On Her Arms

Today November 13th is To Write Love On Her Arms day dedicated to those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.

TWLOHA encourages and informs about help, treatment and recovery as a non-profit movement with a vision to create love and for people to know that they are loved.  It is important that people know that they are meant to live and that life matters.

We live in a harsh world and it is not always easy to cope with when you are or feel alone. People should know that they are not alone even when they feel stuck. Everyone out there is in the same boat as they are able to relate to pain and questioning life. It is necessary to embrace culture and share words and feelings with people.

It is essential to be aware of mystery and beauty as well as tragedy and loss. It is evident that recovery is the hardest part of tragic encounters. The TWLOHA organization has a vision that community and hope and help would replace secrets and silence, people putting down guns and blades and bottles, reducing the suicide rate in America and around the world and to learn what it means to love our friends and that we would love ourselves enough to get the help we need, better endings, restoration of broken families and broken relationships, people finding life, finding freedom, finding love., graduation, a Super Bowl, a wedding, a child, a sunrise and people becoming incredible parents, people breaking cycles and making change.

There is a possibility of having better days.  If you feel alone and need someone these are the people who will help you.

To find out more, contacts are available on the To Write Love On Her Arms site. And if you care about the movement, write love on your arm today, it’s four letters.
