Zipangu Fest (ジパング・フェスト)

The Zipangu fest is showcasing creative and resilient visuals to celebrate and promote Japanese cinema.

The film festival is dedicated to those who suffered in the earthquake and tsunami in the northeast coast of Honshu, Japan.

The weekend program film viewings for this weekend include:

Saturday 19 November 2011

Sunday 20 November 2011

This is the first annual Japanese film festival for many years to come. The Zipangu fest, a non-profit ogranization caters to a variety of audiences with old and new films to demonstrate numerous Japanese identities. This helps to develop and spotlight Japanese talents.

If you have time check it out while in Central London. The closest tube stations are Piccadilly Circus on the Piccadilly line and Charing Cross on the Northern line. Prices range from £10/£8 for concessions and for members £ 7. It looks very culturally interesting. This festival will continue until 24 November 2011 at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London.
