The glamourous Couture Fashion Week showcased several high fashion designer brands this week.

French fashion house, Chanel‘s creative director, Karl Lagerfeld unveiled his new Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.

The looks consisted of a contemporary version of couture with shades of white, light pink, grey, dark grey and black along with silver sparkles and a mixture of stripes and bar prints in wool, cotton, silk and satin giving a variety to the collection. The womenswear appears very elegant and classy for the modern woman.
